ZZ Top Lyrics & Boxes of Murder

Welcome to Musings Column Lucky Number 13. This is my random musings that I have throughout the week on social media and what not saved all in one place. I discuss ZZ Top lyrics, conversations with the wife about bees, and poorly phrased advertisements.

Mysterious ZZ Top Song Lyrics

I love the Spotify app. There is a very neat feature that it has on the mobile app which is called “Behind the Lyrics.” This pop up window will give you insight into a few of the more popular songs’ meanings. You can learn what the artist said and their interpretation of some of the more vaguely poetic lyrics.

However, I don’t think that this feature was absolutely necessary for the song “Legs” by ZZ Top.

ZZ Top

Does it really seem like this song is really shrouded in mystery after all of these years? I sincerely doubt post graduates are dissecting it for their thesis. The music video also sends a clear message that I picked up on when I was young and innocent (a little less innocent after the song and video).

Phrasing

Sometimes, it just seems like social media advertisements aren’t exactly phrased correctly. Let us give you an example. This one, bringing up the possibility of “interactive murder boxes.”

Interactive Murder Boxes

Now… does the box murder you? Do you murder a box? I only ask because I can murder a box without having to sign up for a service.

I’m kidding. I’m kidding. It is a mystery that you have to solve. Cool! Still… work on that phrasing thing I was talking about earlier.
