Weird Products on Facebook: Castlevania, Roman Reigns, Inglorious Basterds

So, the other month a t-shirt popped in my Facebook feed as a sponsored product. Now, thanks to the not at all helpful algorithm of Facebook, I get nothing but pretty much a lot of sponsored products now. Some of them, we will say, are rather interesting ones involving Castlevania, Roman Reigns from WWE, and Quentin Tarantino movies.

Occassionally, though, I get product so I amazing I almost buy it. Such as this amazing Rick & Morty and Star Wars crossover…

Very clever! If nothing else, maybe they might help him get 2 strokes off his golf swing.

However, then there are products that just got me to go “Hmmmm….” Which of course are what inspired this blog…

Seems like someone missed the point of Inglorious Basterds…

Then there is this product inspired by the film Inglorious Basterds.

Wow, okay, where do I begin here?

Now… if you don’t know this movie or the quote, the film Inglorious Basterds is set during World War II. The villain of the film is played by the amazing and extremely talented actor Christoph Waltz. He does, in fact, steal the show in this film, for sure.

Now, having said that, I’m know for a fact I wouldn’t buy a product featuring a fictional nazi unless he’s getting punched by Captain America. To me, it just seems like that sort of thing would be, at the very least, frowned upon given some of the current events going on. Yes, this is even if he is a fictional character.

Roman Reigns Fan Shirts

Okay, I am a fan of professional wrestling. I subscribe to the network. I attend live events. I even read the comic books.

However, I am not a fan of the wrestler known as Roman Reigns. I’m just not. I’m sorry. I want to like him. I tried so hard. In the end, I just don’t.

So… apparently, this means, I get nonstop paid advertisements for corny Roman Reigns shirts.

Well, damn Roman Reigns fanatics. You got me there with your grainy ass picture shirt! Apparently no amount of hatred on my end is going to stop this train.

Then there is this shirt…

So where is Romain Reigns in this shirt? Is he about to Superman punch his way into Mordor or something? I don’t get it.

Also, this quote is like one of those bad “zero fucks given” memes you see pop up on your Facebook. Because if you didn’t care, you wouldn’t need a shirt to tell people you didn’t care! HA!

Well… someone might argue that this is a shirt of fictional characters. As I said, someone just might argue this.

Now, having said that… the amount of Marvel to DC characters in this shirt bothers me! There is one more Marvel character than there is DC Characters. It should be equal! Also, what the hell is Spyder-Man hanging from anyway? Is he in the ground below where they are sitting? I don’t understand! It just seems like not much thought was given here other than some clever line by Jesus, but maybe that is just me.

Interesting concept though if you’re religious and don’t try to overthink it.

A Castlevania Shirt that is Way Off the Mark…

I love old school video games. In the past I covered Shining Force. Another one I love is Castlevania. Now, this Castlevania related fan product caused me to spit out my drink…

Seriously, what the hell is going on here? Now I do love me some Castlevania. But I just can’t imagine too many gym bros going “I’m all about loading up on them carbs for them gains, dat muscle milk, and that Symphony of the Night on Playstation 1, bro!” or however gym bros talk. I admit, not really in on that loop.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with booty, gym, and Castlevania, just those three specific and somewhat random things generally don’t amount to an entire lifestyle. They also don’t even remotely really go together to begin with.

I feel like a person who would wear this shirt would basically be this guy (who is amazing)…
