5 Wild Pieces of Video Game Box Art

I remember back in the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System when I went to my local video game rental store to rent a video game for the weekend. I didn’t have much to go by other than the eye catching box art. Nowadays, we have the internet which between content creators, media sites, and videos, we can learn everything there is to know.

So the box art had to be wild in order for regular people like me to possibly take a chance on the game.

Needless to say, here is some wild video game box art from over the years.

Street Sports Baseball (Commodore 64)

This guy looks awfully confused by what he is doing. Perhaps have an existensial cris about “What is baseball? What am I doing here? There are 7 billion people in this world and each one experiences each day differently. Once bread becomes toast, it can never go back to becoming bread again.”

Good luck man!

Family Farm (PC)

This has to be said but the petrified looks on these animals faces versus the sinister looks on the family’s faces pretty much tells the whole story if you ask me.

Metro Cross (Commodore 64)

His expression is: “Don’t you just love the way blue spandex feels against your body.”

I wouldn’t know sir, and quite frankly, I don’t think I want to.

Street Sports Basketball (Commodore 64)

This dude is lowkey tripping from hash brownies mid dunk. It is alright man, you will get through this.

Tongue of the Fatman (Commodore 64)

Which is worse? The name of the video game “Tongue of the Fatman” or the equally disturbing box art?

In fact, what would a game called “Tongue of the Fatman” be like, you ask? Well I found this video from YouTube creator OtakuBlues which tells you everything you need to know about this bizarre title.
